PSG World School is a new international day school in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, set up by PSG & Sons' Charities, the trust behind the PSG group of institutions that dates back to 1926. It sits on the Avinashi Road side of the city near Peelamedu, within a few minutes of other PSG institutions such as its hospital, rural health centre and arts college, which act as partners for student projects. The school has been granted candidacy by the International Baccalaureate, meaning it is working towards authorisation but is not yet an IB World School. Admissions for 2026-27 are open from Early Years 1 (age 3) to Grade 5, and the school describes a planned continuum up to Grade 12. Learning is inquiry- and project-based: each grade works with a named partner from the PSG network, and every unit ends with a public product presented to a real audience. Progress is tracked through teacher, peer and self-assessment, portfolios on the Toddle platform and NWEA MAP Growth tests three times a year. Small classes are a stated priority. The founding head, David William Sheehan, has worked in schools in Ireland, the United States, Europe and Asia.
