ISR, situated in the Düsseldorf – Neuss – Meerbusch region, provides outstanding international education for students from Kindergarten through Grade 12 in a multilingual environment. The school is exclusively funded by tuition fees and does not receive any state financial support. All income is reinvested directly into the school and kindergarten, ensuring continual improvement for the benefit of our students.

Additionally, ISR is an accredited member of Cognia, a Cambridge Examinations Centre, and an IB World School. The school is also authorized to conduct College Board PSAT examinations on campus.

ISR is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, internationally oriented, and individualized support for its students, offering an outstanding educational approach that prepares them for admission to prestigious universities around the world. The school's well-structured curriculum – combined with the early identification of learning gaps through weekly assessments – forms the foundation for ISR students' graduation results, which consistently exceed both German and global averages.

The centrally developed curriculum is delivered using specially designed teaching programs, ensuring consistency and high standards across all grade levels. Additionally, German is taught in accordance with the curriculum for high schools in North Rhine-Westphalia, providing students with a solid academic foundation in both international and local contexts.

There are over 1,000 students from 60 nations attending Kindergarten through Grade 12. ISR students routinely achieve excellent International Baccalaureate (IB) scores and these internationally recognized diplomas qualify students for entrance to top universities worldwide, including Germany.

ISR offers an international, college-preparatory curriculum. In addition to English and German, a third language is studied starting in Grade 6 with a choice of either French, Spanish, Japanese or Chinese.

In Grades 9 and 10, students are prepared for external examinations such as Cambridge IGCSE – International General Certificate of Secondary Education, DELE – Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera and DELF – Diplôme d'Etudes en langue Française.

ISR offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) for students in grades 11 and 12 and ISR graduates have achieved marks well above the worldwide and German averages and have gone on to study at top universities around the world and in Germany.

We have an outstanding track record qualifying ISR students for studies at universities in Germany. In the past three years, 100% of our students, who wished to, entered German universities by meeting special German IB requirements which qualify passing students for their "Allgemeine Hochschulreif
