Our children attended Mougins School for a year, and unfortunately, our experience was very different from what we had expected based on the way the school presents and markets itself. The school does an excellent job with its marketing, advertising, and overall presentation. As parents looking for a high-quality international education, we were initially very impressed. However, once our children actually attended the school, it quickly became apparent to us that the education was not nearly as academically tailored or individualized as we had bee... Our children attended Mougins School for a year, and unfortunately, our experience was very different from what we had expected based on the way the school presents and markets itself. The school does an excellent job with its marketing, advertising, and overall presentation. As parents looking for a high-quality international education, we were initially very impressed. However, once our children actually attended the school, it quickly became apparent to us that the education was not nearly as academically tailored or individualized as we had been led to expect. To be fair, the individual teachers our children had were very good, caring teachers who genuinely seemed to want the best for their students. Our disappointment is not directed toward them. The problem, in our experience, was that the teachers could only do so much within the larger system and structure of the school. We felt that the administration was far more focused on enrollment, finances, and the business side of the school than on the individual academic and emotional needs of each child. Once you become part of the school, it can very quickly feel as though your child is simply another number rather than an individual student whose progress, strengths, weaknesses, and educational experience are being carefully followed. We also found there was a significant difference between the polished image presented to prospective families and the day-to-day reality once enrolled. For the tuition being charged and the expectations created by the school’s marketing, we expected a much higher level of individualized academic attention, accountability, communication, and responsiveness from the administration. Ultimately, our children spent a year there, and we left disappointed with the overall experience. There are some very good teachers at Mougins School, and I want to emphasize that distinction. But in our experience, good individual teachers were not enough to overcome what we felt were much larger shortcomings in the way the school itself is managed and the priorities of its administration. For families considering Mougins School, I would strongly recommend looking beyond the marketing and asking very specific questions about individualized academics, how student progress is monitored, how concerns are handled after enrollment, and how much direct attention each child actually receives. Our experience simply did not live up to what we believed we were signing up for.

Stay away from Mougins School no accademic structure lot of teachers turnover and not qualified campus very dirty not even toillet paper and soap in the toilets

I graduated from Mougins school a few years ago. I understand it used to be a better school, but academic standards have dropped in recent years. Staff was generally unfriendly and unhelpful (with few exceptions). The school is too expensive for what it offers

this school was overall a disappointing experience for our family. We stayed in French Riviera for a couple of years and unfortunately had to send our son to this school, as there are not many English language schools in the area. The level of academics was low, our son did not seem to have learned much during his stay at this school. Our son's high school in the US was offering several computer/technology classes, and were surprised that there were no such classes offered at Mougins school. Some of the staff was rather unfriendly and not really int...

Beautiful campus in lovely part of the world. I am sure it was good in the past, not so now. 5 changes of Head in last 18 months. Deputy Head and Head of Sixth Form were amazing and have both left the school. Excellent teachers left in July 2020. New teachers started from UK in September and did not return in January 2021. Teaching not up to date with English National Curriculum in Primary. When help is asked for, the response is to pay teachers privately for tuition on top of high school fees. Apparently it has been bought by a schools group now. M...
