La Tour is a Catholic international school in Paris whose motto, 'S'élever ensemble', reflects its aim of helping each pupil reach their own excellence. Its educational project combines a strong classical and scientific grounding, taught with particular attention to command of the French language, with openness to the wider world through languages and an internationally diverse community of around 25 nationalities among pupils.

Information about languages of the La Tour Paris - Anglophone Section

Every pupil at La Tour studies three languages through to the end of their schooling: English, a European language (German, Spanish, Italian or Russian) and a third option chosen from Latin, Ancient Greek, Arabic, Chinese or Japanese. Modern languages are taught by native-speaker teachers in small, level-based groups, and bilingual or advanced tracks are available in several of them. Within the Anglophone Section, Etudes Anglophones is a bilingual programme for fluent English speakers from 6e to Terminale, Anglais Avancé is an honours stream for strong learners of English, and Anglais Renforcé gives younger pupils in 6e and 5e extra support to move up.

Information about international degrees and programmes of the La Tour Paris - Anglophone Section

The Anglophone Section opened in 1989 and now serves several hundred secondary pupils across three programmes. Etudes Anglophones adds two extra weekly classes of Anglophone literature and history, taught by native-speaker teachers with materials used in English-speaking countries, alongside the French national curriculum leading to the Baccalauréat. Entry is by an English test held in spring, early July or late August, after the pupil has first been admitted to La Tour. Lycée students can also take electives such as film-making, debate, journalism and creative writing, and a mentoring scheme helps newcomers from abroad settle in.

Information about extracurricular activities of the La Tour Paris - Anglophone Section

Through its sports association, La Tour runs a weekly after-class programme from late September to May, including badminton, basketball, modern jazz dance, climbing, futsal, rhythmic gymnastics, multi-sport, table tennis and volleyball, using the school gyms and multi-sport hall. A sports week at the end of the year lets younger secondary pupils try new disciplines, and language trips are organised abroad, for example to Ireland, Germany, Austria, Italy or Jordan depending on the language studied.

Truly international and bilingual with a very high level of academic English - English History, English Literature, English Arts History. The anglophone section is high demanding but at the same time it is focus on the well-being of the student. They offered many complementary programs, trips, conference - such as Harvard Model Congres Europe, Habitat for Humanity, exchange programs with the US and Australia
