EIB de la Jonchère is a private bilingual school of the EIB Paris network, part of the Globeducate group. Its nursery, primary and middle school classes share one campus on the border of Bougival and La Celle-Saint-Cloud (Yvelines), about 30 minutes west of Paris. Pupils aged 3 to 15 follow the French Ministry of Education curriculum with half of their lessons in English and half in French, and the school reports a 100% pass rate in the Diplôme National du Brevet.

The school covers nursery (from petite section), primary and middle school up to 3ème. In nursery, learning alternates naturally between French and English. In primary, pupils study French, French history, PE and numeracy in French, and geometry, geography, science and English itself in English. In middle school, maths, PE and French remain in French, while history-geography, the sciences, technology and the arts switch to English. Interdisciplinary STREAM projects bring robotics and new technologies into the curriculum, and an IB-inspired Service as Action programme encourages pupils to lead projects and run their own clubs.

Information about languages of the EIB de La Jonchère
Teaching is split 50/50 between French and English from the first year of nursery. The English programme follows Cambridge International, with preparation for Cambridge English Qualifications and IGCSE exams. Spanish is added in 6ème as a third language. From Year 3 (CE1), pupils who lack one of the two languages join immersion classes to catch up, and in 6ème and 5ème an intensive French programme in very small groups prepares newcomers to rejoin their regular class.

An optional door-to-door shuttle serves the west of Paris within 15 km of the school. The school is open from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm (4:00 pm on Wednesdays), with bilingual before- and after-school care, supervised study and homework help.
