Our experience with Aspire International School was extremely negative and deeply disappointing. My children had just moved from another country because they wanted to live in Egypt, experience life there, and attend school there. They were excited about the move and genuinely wanted to make Egypt their home. Unfortunately, our experience at this school completely changed that. Instead of making children excited about learning and going to school, our experience was that the school environment made our children dread going to school and lose their enthusiasm for it. A school should build children up, encourage them, and make them feel welcome—not make them unhappy about attending. The experience became so negative that my children ultimately left Egypt and returned to their original school in the country they had previously lived in. It is extremely disappointing that children who wanted to stay in Egypt ended up leaving because of their school experience. We were also deeply disappointed with how we felt our children were treated. We got the impression that parents who did not participate in expensive gift-giving were treated differently. If a family cannot or does not want to spend large amounts of money on gifts, that should never have any impact on how their children are treated. The mere perception of this is extremely troubling. Parent communication was another major failure. Communication was poor, frustrating, and inconsistent. When parents have legitimate concerns about their children, they should be able to communicate with the school and receive professional, respectful, and meaningful responses. That was not our experience. Overall, we found the experience incredibly frustrating and upsetting. We expected an international school to demonstrate professionalism, compassion, accountability, and genuine concern for its students. Unfortunately, we did not experience enough of that. Parents considering this school should think very carefully before enrolling their children. Talk to current and former parents, ask difficult questions, and pay close attention to how the school handles concerns and treats students. A school should create a love of learning—not make children hate going to school. Based on our experience, we strongly do NOT recommend Aspire International School. Our children came to Egypt wanting to stay, but their experience at this school ultimately drove them back to their previous school outside Egypt. That alone says everything about how disappointing this experience was for our family.

Communication with families

Extremely disappointing experience with Aspire School. There is a very obvious sense of favoritism and discrimination among students. From my experience, children whose parents give gifts or special favors seem to receive better treatment, while others are treated differently. This is completely unacceptable in a school environment. The English level is also shockingly poor for international school. The teaching quality is nowhere near what we were promised and, honestly, feels closer to the level of an average government school. Parents pay for ...

I highly recommend this school for its friendly and professional atmosphere, as well as its safe environment for children. They have a separate department dedicated to student management and behaviour. I believe negative reviews may stem from parents who can't follow the school's rules and policies.
