Founded in 2002 through the foresight and partnership among the Government of Canada, the Province of New Brunswick, and Dr. Francis Pang, the International School of Nanshan Shenzhen offers its students an internationally recognized Canadian curriculum taught in the IB framework. The goal is to foster a diverse student body through exceptional education, instilling in young people a love and joy of learning, an ability to think independently, and the confidence to take risks in pursuing their dreams and goals. As of August 2016, the International School of Nanshan Shenzhen is an IB World School for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP). IB World Schools share a common philosophy—a commitment to improve the teaching and learning of a diverse and inclusive community of students by delivering challenging, high quality programs of international education that share a powerful vision. In addition to the IB programmes, ISNS offers an English-based, Canadian curriculum from the province of New Brunswick. ISNS graduates receive Canadian (New Brunswick) High School Diplomas, and they are readily accepted to universities worldwide with an ISNS transcript of marks.

Fantastic school, full of international teachers from around the world. The I.B. system is taken very seriously there. From a visitor perspective I had never seen such complete systems ensuring that the teachers can help the students focus on attitudes, culture, cooperation, etc the I.B. values system.
