Colegio Pedro de Valdivia Agustinas is a private, secular school in the historic centre of Santiago, Chile, a short walk from Plaza de Armas, La Moneda and Cerro Santa LucĂa, with excellent metro connections. It belongs to the Pedro de Valdivia network, which began in 1978 as a pre-university academy and opened its first school, the Casa de Estudios Pedro de Valdivia in central Santiago, in 1983; the network has been part of International Schools Partnership (ISP) since 2019. The school educates children from age 2 (Tiny and Playgroup) through to IV Medio, spread across several nearby buildings on Agustinas and HuĂ©rfanos streets, each adapted to a stage, including a new building for the last two years of secondary from 2026. Teaching is based on Chile's official MINEDUC programme, enriched with active learning methods and a strong English programme: in primary, several subjects such as science and social studies are taught in English, and students later prepare for Cambridge English certificates with the goal of reaching B2. The school highlights strong PAES results, including top national scores in 2025, and above-average SIMCE performance. A wide programme of extracurricular workshops and ISP international learning opportunities completes the offer.
