Colegio Pedro de Valdivia Providencia is a private bilingual school on Avenida Pedro de Valdivia in Providencia, one of Santiago's most central and well-connected districts, a five-minute walk from Inés de Suárez metro station. Founded in 1999 as part of the Pedro de Valdivia network, whose origins go back to a pre-university academy created in 1978, it has belonged to International Schools Partnership (ISP) since 2019. The school welcomes children from Playgroup to IV Medio and combines the Chilean national curriculum with the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) and International Primary Curriculum (IPC). English takes up to 75% of lesson time in the early grades, and around eight in ten graduates obtain an international English certificate such as the Cambridge B2 First. In the 2025 PAES admission tests the school reported five top national scores, and about 70% of students are admitted to one of their first three university choices, helped by the on-campus Pedro de Valdivia pre-university course. School culture is built around the 'Be Kind' seal and ISP life competencies, and students can choose from more than 60 workshops and nine sports teams. Partnerships with Cambridge English, the British Council, English UC and a Chinese cultural centre enrich the programme, and a new Senior School campus opened in 2026.
