Colegio Pedro de Valdivia Peñalolén is a private, secular school on Avenida Quilín in the Peñalolén district of eastern Santiago, Chile, close to Quilín metro station. It opened in 1997 as the fourth school of the Pedro de Valdivia network, starting with 750 pupils and doubling its enrolment within two years, and since 2019 International Schools Partnership (ISP) has been its owner. The school serves children from age 2 (Tiny) to IV Medio across Early Years, Primary and Senior School, following Chile's national science-humanities curriculum combined with an intensive bilingual English programme. English is acquired as a second language from Playgroup to 5th grade, with many primary subjects taught in English, and continues intensively in the upper years; the school works with English UC as a Cambridge exam preparation centre, and more than 70% of graduates obtain an official Cambridge English certificate. The school reports that 95% of its students either continue to higher education or obtain recognised academic certificates. Its campus covers about seven hectares and is one of the largest school sports grounds in Santiago, with full-size football pitches, a hockey court, a gym with three volleyball courts and many outdoor courts. It holds a certified school safety plan (PISE) and runs a broad programme of workshops.
