St. Gilgen International School (StGIS) is a private international day and boarding school in the lakeside village of St. Gilgen on the Wolfgangsee, in the Salzkammergut region of Salzburg, Austria, 35 minutes from Salzburg Airport. It serves around 225 students in Grades 4 to 12 with approximately 50 teachers, some 35 nationalities and a 5:1 student-teacher ratio. Learning is organised in three phases - Primary, Middle and Senior - and supported by a pastoral network of mentor tutors, houseparents, a school nurse and teaching staff.
