HANOI, 17 October 2026. Westlink International School in Hanoi will host its Westlink Admissions Morning: Future Builders on Saturday 24 October, from 9am to 12pm, a free event combining hands-on STEM workshops for children with a campus tour and meetings with school leaders for parents.
The event is designed for students aged 4 to 16, from Preschool to Grade 10, who will be grouped into three age-specific STEM stations. Children aged 4 to 7 will build with LEGO Education SPIKE Essential kits; those aged 8 to 10 will assemble autonomous VEX GO vehicles paired with Google Teachable Machine AI vision; and students aged 11 to 16 will take on VEX IQ tournament arena challenges and Python-powered AI agent development.
No previous coding or robotics experience is needed. According to the school, each station follows a project-based approach guided by certified instructors, with two students per kit, so that beginners can complete a working prototype by the end of the session.
Parents follow a separate programme at the same time: a welcome and curriculum overview led by the senior leadership team, a guided tour of the LOTUS-certified green campus, including the STEAM research labs, Maker Space, performing arts theatre and sports facilities, and a one-to-one consultation on the IB Continuum and the US-aligned Bilingual stream.
Families attending will also have access to the school's priority enrolment package for the 2027-28 school year, including eligibility for academic and talent scholarships covering up to 50% of tuition, as well as priority placement and sibling incentives.
