The Perse School (Singapore) Awarded Four-Year EduTrust Certification

EduTrust is Singapore's quality certification for private education institutions, and the assessors' report on The Perse highlighted three areas of strength.

The first was student support. Assessors described a "diverse and impressive range of value-added activities" for a multinational student body, citing partnerships with Barça Academy and Crickingdom, a student-led Green Team, and entrepreneurship projects such as the Bullpen Challenge, industry sessions led by parents and days on which students sell their own products.

The second was the way the school supports learning. The report pointed to its English as an Additional Language and Learning Support teams, individual education and behaviour plans, the pastoral system in the Senior School and the regular tracking of each pupil's effort, attainment and behaviour.

The third was innovation and continual improvement, with examples that included coding and robotics from Year 1, a Culinary Lab, solar panels and hybrid cooling on campus, technology in Early Years classrooms and the platforms the school uses to keep parents informed.

“Achieving the full four-year EduTrust Certification after just 16 months of operation is a remarkable milestone for The Perse School (Singapore).”

Anip Sharma and Johan Stromsater, Co-Founders and Co-CEOs

Principal Mark Preece called the certification "an important affirmation of our commitment to providing an exceptional educational experience for every student."

About The Perse School (Singapore)

The Perse School (Singapore) is a British international school for children aged 3 to 18 on Chestnut Drive, in Upper Bukit Timah. It opened in 2025 and operates in partnership with The Perse School in Cambridge, England, founded in 1615, sharing resources and teacher training.

Pupils follow a British curriculum from the Pelicans early years section through the Junior School to the Senior School, leading to IGCSE. The school currently teaches from Nursery to Year 11, and it plans to open Years 12 and 13 with an A Level programme in 2027.

What this means for families

For families looking at newer schools in Singapore, an independent check carries real weight, because a young school has no long record of results to point to yet. An external review that singles out learning support, pastoral care and the breadth of activities gives parents a concrete starting point for their own visit.

Families can compare The Perse with other options in the International School Advisor ranking of the best international schools in Singapore.
