St. Joseph's Institution International Plans New Campus for 2030

The Building Futures Gala Dinner brought together students, staff and alumni, who shared personal reflections on the experiences, values and opportunities that have shaped who they are today. Guests also enjoyed student performances and an immersive XR experience that offered a glimpse of the possibilities for the future campus.

The evening ended with students and staff coming together for a finale performance of A Million Dreams. They were joined on stage by the school's chief executive, Dr Michael Johnston, and the chairman of the Board of Governors, Mr Chris Woo.

The new Serangoon Campus is described as a purpose-built home with spaces to learn, gather, create, serve and grow together. The campus plans remain subject to final approvals, and the school is working closely with the relevant authorities.

The campaign is grounded in the school's mission: to enable students to learn how to learn and to learn how to live as Lasallian people for others. School leaders stress that the project is about more than buildings. In their words, the spaces matter because of the learning, relationships, opportunities and experiences they make possible.

Building Futures is also a philanthropic campaign. The school invites support in several forms: gifts in kind and expertise, strategic collaborations in education, wellbeing, sport or technology, facilities sponsorship, and legacy and commemorative giving. Donations to the SJI International Building and Development Fund are entitled to a 250% tax deduction for Singapore residents and Singapore-registered companies, and the school says that 100% of each contribution goes directly to the fund.
