What this means for families
For families on the Costa Blanca, the main takeaway is that Newton College prepares students well for two different routes: the IB Diploma for universities abroad and the PAU for Spanish universities. Results above the regional average in both systems, plus a near-perfect English score in the PAU, are relevant for parents who want to keep both doors open until late in secondary school.
Parents should ask how students choose between the two pathways and how the school supports bilingual Diploma candidates. To compare other schools in the area, see the International School Advisor ranking of the best international schools in Alicante.
