ICS Paris Announces New Partnership with Le Cordon Bleu Paris

According to the school, the collaboration will give students practical experiences exploring nutrition, food culture and wellbeing. Activities will be age-appropriate and shaped around students' ages and learning needs, with the aim of encouraging them to ask questions, experiment and build confidence through participation.

The first strand announced is a forthcoming Nutrition Discovery Programme for Primary students. It will introduce healthy eating and food awareness through interactive sessions, with practical activities designed to help younger learners understand everyday food choices and begin developing habits that support their wellbeing. ICS Paris said further details of the programme will be shared with parents in the coming weeks.

Beyond Primary, the wider collaboration will draw on the master chefs and specialists of Le Cordon Bleu, a global network of culinary arts and hospitality management institutes present in more than 20 countries, to explore culinary creativity, sustainability and food science. Students will have opportunities to practise collaboration, precision and problem-solving, while seeing how classroom learning applies in everyday life.

Le Cordon Bleu was founded in Paris in 1895. For ICS Paris, the partnership is a way to draw on the culture and expertise of its home city and make Paris an active part of students' education. The school also links the programme to its International Baccalaureate approach, using food as a starting point for investigating science, mathematics, culture and wellbeing, and for making connections across subjects.

“Working with Le Cordon Bleu Paris will help children connect what they learn in school with the food they eat, the choices they make and the cultures they encounter.”

Geert Simons, Head of School, ICS Paris

Le Cordon Bleu also welcomed the agreement. Lilla Somogyi, its Sales and Marketing Director, said Le Cordon Bleu hopes the partnership will inspire students to explore new tastes, nurture their creativity and develop essential skills and healthy habits. ICS Paris added that direct engagement with professionals will show students how creativity, discipline and collaboration come together in practice.
