LONDON, 14 October 2026. Halcyon London International School has reported a 100% pass rate in the 2026 IB Diploma, with 95% of its Class of 2026 scoring 30 points or more. The school in Marylebone, central London, published the results on 9 October and said they comfortably surpassed the IB world average.
According to the school, 11% of the class scored 40 points. The IB Diploma is marked out of 45: students are graded from 1 to 7 in six subjects, and can earn up to three bonus points for Theory of Knowledge and the Extended Essay. With 24 points needed to pass, nearly the whole class finished at least six points clear of the pass mark.
Fifteen graduates have gone on to leading universities in the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States, among them UCL, King's College London, Sciences Po and Pepperdine University.
Not every graduate chose university straight away. Two students moved directly into work, one of them on a Data Science Degree Apprenticeship at Bloomberg, a route that combines a degree with paid employment.
In its announcement, the school also pointed to a 2026 report by ACS International Schools and the IB Schools and Colleges Association, in which 69% of university admissions officers surveyed agreed that the IB is the best overall pathway to thrive at university.

What this means for families
For families relocating to London who want an IB education from age 11, a full pass rate with almost every student above 30 points shows a programme that supports the whole year group, not just the top of it. The mix of UK, European and US destinations, and the option of a degree apprenticeship, is also a reminder that the IB keeps several routes open after school. Parents may want to ask how the school supports the Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge, which supply the bonus points, and how university guidance is organised for applications in different countries.
