Dulwich College (Singapore) Graduates Win Five Oxbridge Places in 2026

The IB average of 37.7 points sits well above the global figure of 30.88 that the International Baccalaureate reported for the May 2026 session. The diploma is marked out of 45, and 24 points are needed to pass, so the typical Dulwich graduate finished more than 13 points clear of the pass mark.

University offers followed the same pattern. Alongside the five Oxbridge places, students secured 26 places at the UK's G5 universities and two places in the Ivy League in the United States, and 46% of the cohort won places at Russell Group universities.

The United Kingdom was the most popular destination, chosen by 61.8% of the class, followed by the United States with 15.4% and Singapore with 7.4%. Engineering was the most popular field of study, ahead of Business and Management, and Creative and Performing Arts.

With 156 candidates, the 99.3% pass rate means that almost every member of the year group was awarded the diploma, and the cohort is large enough for the average to reflect the whole class rather than a small, selective group.

Eric Laug, who leads university and careers counselling at the college, said the results reflected the way students had approached their applications, rather than the number of applications they sent.

“We are incredibly proud of the way they have approached the process”

What this means for families

For families comparing international schools in Singapore, university destinations are often the clearest test of a sixth form, and these figures give a concrete picture: almost half the year group at Russell Group universities, and a spread of destinations across the UK, the US and Singapore itself. The emphasis on how students apply, rather than how many applications they send, is also worth asking about at an open morning.
