Tirana International School (TIS) is a private, English-medium, K-12 international school located on a 5.5-hectare campus in Fshati Mullet, Komuna Petrele, on the southern outskirts of Tirana, Albania. Founded in 1991 by Quality Schools International (QSI) as Albania emerged from over 45 years of dictatorial rule, the school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools since 1999 and by the International Baccalaureate since 2021. TIS serves students aged 2 through Secondary IV in a diverse international community of 40+ nationalities, offering Preschool, Elementary, Middle and Secondary School with both an Advanced Placement (AP) Programme and the IB Diploma Programme.

Information about the facilities of the Tirana International School
The TIS campus occupies a 5.5-hectare site on the southern outskirts of Tirana. The purpose-built building, completed in 2014, was designed to take advantage of natural light with many balconies and patios. Indoor facilities include a full English Elementary and Secondary library with tens of thousands of volumes, multiple science laboratories, a fully-equipped music room, an art studio, a robotics and 3-D printing laboratory, an indoor performance area and a full-service cafeteria. The sports complex comprises two playgrounds, a turfed soccer pitch and track playable year-round, a tennis court, a large exercise room and a multipurpose play area. Outdoor courtyards and respite areas surround the building.
