First of all, I want to say that this school has its own ups and downs although most of them are downs. Some of the teachers in this school are kind while most of the teachers are strict. The classrooms are alright and the students are sociable. There are regular occasions where violence between two students happen like hitting each other. The washrooms are mostly unhygienic like there would be overused soap lying or tissues on the ceiling or on the floor. There are even more weird things in the washroom I do not want to talk about. They would give a feedback form on the school and the teachers would force us to rate it 5 stars without giving a proper feedback. The library is damn fake and I don't remember seeing anyone enter the library as far as I can remember but I might be wrong. PE periods are not very good as they do not usually teach any kind of physical education. The teachers give out a lot of homework as well. An advice for the parents reading this, this school is not a good place if you want to join your kid here.

I'm writing this review disgustingly, my kid was bullied by multiple teachers and wasn't given proper guidance and support, most teachers only favour the kids who are loud and popular in conclusion this isn't the school where you want to send your kids especially if they're in lower grades as this school is not safe for kids and their mental health, some teachers even torcher the kids physically not only teachers but 90% of students are not well mannered, constant bullying, harassment, and spreading of rumours is a daily thing about this school. Dissapointed!!!

Very bad school I would definitely not recommend. The bad things- hygiene (in canteen, bathroom) . Some of the Tamil teachers which teach other subjects than language ignore Hindi students and not clear doubts.

This school helps us to get no where in life. A school with teachers who aren't passionate to teach, a campus with no much facilities and staff who care nothing about extra curricular and other aspects. The teachers, (high school) take their own sweet time to start lessons, and rush it up in the end and have no care whether we understood the topic or not. We have almost 0 opportunities to grow otherwise in school ex- for dance, music, sports etc. They "claim " to provide opportunities but it's nothing as such. They only select students of their choice and practice favouritism. Other students are IGNORED and looked down upon. overall, this school has no SUBSTANCE, environment is NEGATIVE, average students are given almost NILL opportunities, school has no proper RULES and no EFFICIENT PLANNING, canteen isn't great either and the so called library that we have has been shut for I'm not sure how long..the fake of doing the events by just asking us to pose for the picture..it's all just mere SHOWOFF. Being an alumni of this school I must say, with much dismay that this school gave me no sweet memories that I can take with me ahead in life. More than sadness, we felt pleasure leaving the school as it wasted so much of our precious time and we were glad to waste no more. To every parent reading this, please take this review seriously. Even salt looks like sugar when the staff tries to convince you that this school is great, but only we know how it really is. There is not a single student I know who proudly says that I go to YBIS and I like that school. That must mean something right?

Indubitably, this school was responsible for the worst years of my life. Super intrusive staff, very untidy, when compared to other international schools and quality of education, is garbage. I would recommend you save your money and straight away throw your kid in the trash if you hate your kid enough to suffer in a pathetic school. PS, one of the reviews left here is by a teacher in the school.

Really a worthy international school with very good teaching staffs and moderate fees, compared with rest of the isl . Principal and all management heads are quite approachable and I am personally happy and proudly recommend any new comments to join this great school.

Not sure about the school yet, but my experience with the one who receives the call (Admin) is really bad. Called the number to get details on admission, she gave me a timeline to call back, did call, again changed the time, happened 4 times and still awaiting! this kind of arrogant attitude makes me feel really bad abt the school. Update1: Changing to 3 Star: Managed to visit the center today for admission, f2f experience was a bit diff, most were polite and accommodating, managed to talk to few parents before going and it was a +ve feeling and felt good about it. management should look into the staffs workload and balance it, as my previous call experience wasnt that great, i believe its either work load or proper instructions for the front office to provide when parents calls them. It would have been good if management provides some kind of curriculum/course details, snack time for kids etc to parents when they visit for admission, or probably a Inquiry booth as all were busy in admission process and was difficult to get answers. will update again after 6months.

The school students n the parents are hooligans they like to scream for nothing and litter around the near by blocks. I think this india attitude the place use to be peaceful until the hooligans came.

Disappointing school experience. As a student who studied both upper secondary and secondary school in ybis, I was stripped off of any childhood memories. There were absolutely no CCAs. There were absolutely no preparation or even mention about other examinations such as SATs or ielts. Teachers were really rude and sexist. The ex vice principal, was extremely intrusive with the upper secondary students, commenting on an individual's profile picture very rudely. The English teacher who shows affinity towards malayalis, holds grudges on students for making petty mistakes and picks on students with a personal vengeance, constantly. Apart from this, teachers are also very sexist and have a weird rule where both girls and boys cannot even communicate or be good friends. There is absolutely no sex education thus completely avoiding topics about consent and how to deal with harrassment or topics regarding good touch or bad touch. Studying in yuvabharathi will be a bad decision if you don't want to mentally traumatize your son/daughter. Avoid this school, you might as well put your child in local school, where you have a higher chance of getting into nus or NTU, even if it is through poly route.
