Yew Wah International Education School of Guangzhou (YWIES Guangzhou) provides a unique international education and emergent curriculum programmes for children from two to five years of age to meet their developmental needs and abilities. We have created a child-centred and game-based learning environment that stimulates children's thinking. Our children are nurtured by both Chinese and foreign teachers. The violin programme is one of the compulsory courses in early childhood education. YWIES Guangzhou’s ECE Section has developed into a professional, bilingual and international kindergarten after many years. YWIES Guangzhou offers a four-year Overseas University Preparatory Programme (OUPP), consisting of a two-year International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and a two-year University Preparation (A Level). The IGCSE and A Level certificates are issued by the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) and are widely recognised in the world. Cambridge IGCSE provides a study programme across a wide range of subject areas. A Level is based on the General Certificate of Education Advanced Level Programme issued by the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE). English is the key medium of instruction. The programme offers various choices of courses. Students are able to choose the most suitable courses according to their own career planning, interests and specialties. YWIES Guangzhou has created an authentic international atmosphere and learning environment in mainland China which facilitates graduates to pursue further studies in top overseas.
