About Uptown International School (UIS)
Uptown International School (UIS) is a community of active, inquiring learners comprising students, parents, and school staff where knowledge, skills, and compassion are developed and celebrated. Our students will develop into responsible citizens of Egypt and the world.
UIS seeks students who are inquisitive, curious, and eager to learn and explore. We expect parents to be supportive of inquiry-based, play-based learning where skills and knowledge are taught, developed, and practiced through the framework of the IB Primary Years Program. Uptown International School is a candidate school* for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Program and pursuing authorization as an IB World School.

I believe that children’s bodies, minds, and emotions combine to make some unique individuals. I see that UIS Egypt is concerned about the kind of environment in which each child learns best. I believe that this school experience is an incredible and outstanding one.
