About The Universal American School (UAS)
The Universal American School, Kuwait (UAS) is a private nonprofit co-educational college-preparatory school serving multinational students from Nursery to Grade 12. UAS opened in September 1975 with approximately 300 students to begin a high-quality tradition in academics, athletics, fine arts, and extra-curricular activities. Today there are over 1,800 students from all over the world as we approach our 45th anniversary of excellence in education.
UAS is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and New England Association of Schools and Colleges NEASC). There is a particularly selective student admissions procedure based on an interview and required entrance examination at all levels.
Approximately 380 staff includes highly qualified teachers and many long-term employees. A large percentage of faculty members have advanced degrees in addition to required teaching certification.

How would you rate The Universal American School (UAS)?
The school isn't the best, the people there gang up on other boys/girls , students are always out of class and when the students do a big problem they give a stupid punishment but they they do a small problem they give a harsh punishment, I would say don't take your kids to this school because every year the teachers and students are leaving and changing and fees are high for nothing. Students who went into the school have had parents shouting at them and anxiety and more problems
I am in the school and it is very depressing the girls are toxic and they are liars, they always leave someone out and think its funny, the school bathrooms are closed. The Arabic there isn't the best
- Teacher for 8th Grade Science - UAS is overall a decent school.. what are the cons you may ask? Well its VERY depressing in the halls unlike other public and private schools. Also Its very disorganized. Teachers from my prospective are rude, so as many other employees here. And there was this one staff member that I ABSOLUTELY HATED. She screamed for no reason complains about student behavior even though she's in the wrong most of the time. She pulls people by the shirt and.. I cant mention more information I will not be saying her name due to respect. Thank you for reading this review.
UAS overall is not a bad school it has excellent teaching. But the technology there sucks and its very very dirty. Teachers are just.. bad pretty much a public school but English

The schools education is excellent. It truly prepares your kids for college and simplifies the first couple of years for your kids.
