About The Tanto International School
The Tanto International School is one of a very few schools, in Stockholm, that has been granted the license to offer a complete international education in English. The school educates students from the age of 6-12 years (our English Nursery caters for children from 1-6 yrs) and remains committed to offering the very best support and development through small classes and high quality teaching.
Our aim is to remain a small, independent school, and our long term priority is to make sure all our children continue to receive the best care, learning environment and attention. The school has a calm, caring and creative atmosphere where children really enjoy coming to school and are proud of attending The Tanto International School. Since 1983, we have been creating a passion for learning in children between the ages of 1 and 12.

Exceptionell skola! Rektor som bryr sig på riktigt och har tid att diskutera föräldrarnas synpunkter eller händelser! Väldigt trygg och familjär miljö. Barn skaffar sig kompisar även från andra årskurser. Trist att man inte kan fortsätta till ÅK 9 då man undervisar till Year7=ÅK6
We highly recommend this school! My child loves school and learns a lot of things progressing every day.
Our son has attended second year at the school for four weeks now and we are very happy so far. Our son's English language level when he joined the school was limited but with a dedicated effort from the staff he is making good progress and is now reading well. He is already bilingual and adding English as a third language was always going to be a challenge but the teachers are both professional and kind and he is enjoying himself and rise to the challenge. The school offers a very calm and focused learning environment very different to what is normally the case in Swedish schools and more like a smaller "office" where small talk can be mixed with focused studies without spiralling out of control. It is also apparent that the teachers cares for each student and has a very good understanding of each student's needs. We can warmly recommend Tanto International School to any young student.

My daughter studies here for the last 4 years. Teachers are very kind...best part is Principal available right in front of the school almost every morning and reaching him is so easy! One of the best international school in Stockholm.

A wonderful school!! Everyone's like a big family. Teachers are fantastic! So happy we have our kids here, no other school has been this good so far
