The Olive Tree School provides dynamic, personalised education for 3-16 year olds. Two highly experienced teachers founded The Olive Tree in a cosy ground floor of a house in Sitges to provide a school that was warm, caring and with high academic expectations. Now, many years later, we have spacious premises with beautiful grassy gardens, a science lab, two ICT suites, an airy art studio, two large, full libraries, two outdoor classrooms, two thriving vegetable plots and an indoor and an outdoor theatre. However, we have remained true to our original values. Those centre on high expectations for all children leading to academic excellence. We guide every pupil on their path to developing critical thinking, creativity and care for others. Our dedicated team of teachers are British-government trained, and employ a variety of teaching styles in the classroom. We create an environment where children experiment with new concepts, and follow their curiosity. Discovery learning and free exchange of ideas are essential to us. Come and meet us!

We welcome children from 3 to 16, following the UK National Curriculum, but interpreting it with creativity, active learning and pupil-centred methodologies.

In the early years, we are influenced by Reggio Emilia and Montessori; discovery learning, garden and outdoor exploration, and personalised provision.

In the primary years, we have a lovely programme of project-based learning, where the child learns through high-quality historical projects that involve the arts, literature and drama. Multi-sensory learnind makes for deeper learning.

In secondary, we encourage critical thinking, debate and deep exploration of global issues.

We love the Olive Tree School! It was the answer to our dreams after leaving a school where our daughter's dyslexia was neither identified nor supported. During her five years at the OTS she received caring, individual attention and thrived in a rich and supportive environment of scholarship, creativity (music and drama) and sports. The small class size is a huge plus, and the school feels like one big family for both the kids and the parents. Thank you Olive Tree School!

The Olive Tree truly believes in fostering happy, curious, engaged and aware students who are prepared to take on the challenges and changes of the 21st century. Their committed and inspiring teachers are dedicated to helping students achieve their absolute best and for this reason, I know my children have benefitted tremendously from this school. Our son and daughter have attended since 2014 and are now well into their secondary years, with our daughter having successfully completed GCSE’s this past June. I am grateful for the devoted staff and for...

A small school with a big vision. There is so much patience, attention and caring provided by the teachers for the children here. Primary years in particular shine. With a small student to teacher ratio and plenty of personal attention. The staff make sure to get to know the child they are working with and play up their strengths rather than trying to make all children fit into the same mold. A special place.

The Olive Tree School provides a small and safe community for children to thrive. Our kids enjoyed the many outdoor activities and creative hands-on projects the primary program provided for them. The warm, dedicated, and inspiring teachers always made an effort to connect these practical learning activities with the core curriculum – with excellent results. During their time at the Olive Tree, our children grew both in confidence and capabilities. We only wish we had a school like this where we are now!

A school which offers a very British-style education and an ideal choice for kids that flourish in a more caring environement.
