How would you rate The British School in The Netherlands (BSN)?
Excellent facilities, teachers, and staff who care for and know my children.
I’m a grandmother wanting to find out about the school since my 14 years old grand daughter will be starting school by august. Her name is Gaia Borello, Italian father and Argentine mother. She comes from Washington D.C. where she has lived for the last 10 years. She doesn’t speak Dutch yet.
It has a uniform and the teachers care pastorally. Bullying does not exist as it is such a nurturing environment.
BSN Voorschoten (SSV) has really good dedicated teachers who work hard to bring out the best in their students. It has great facilities, including state of the art design technology, art and food technology rooms and a beautiful sports field with tennis courts and hockey and rugby pitches.

I studied here from 1999 to 2001. I hope the school has improved since then. At the time it was a rather unpleasant place for an student with a non-British background and the school provided absolutely no guidance with regards to choice of a university and further education at graduation (even though someone was actually tasked with that). The only positive experience were physics classes.
