How would you rate St. John's International School (SJIS)?
Amazing quality and very competitive
St johns is a great school, all the events are fun and people there are supportive. it is located in the heart of KL
I think SJIS is an acceptable school but the food is quite poor and the school itself is in an office building but the teachers there are more Indian and not very friendly but the sports teachers and geo and history teachers are the nicest the rest there have favourites and teach based on their mood and when they are not well they still come to school to teach and yet blame the students when they are sick the sports are great but on selection wise not that great
The school lacks professionalism and compassion, both of which should be instilled in the students. However, recently, I received a call from the school regarding my son not wearing his sports uniform. They informed me that he must either wear the uniform or be forced to sit outside his class, which is a clear act of humiliation towards the child. This incident has left a lasting impact on my child's mind, resulting in a loss of confidence. My son is a proactive individual who always volunteers for various activities. Last year, I paid the required amount for the sports uniform, but the school failed to provide it for the entire academic year. Eventually, they returned the money. What I find hypocritical in this situation is that the school is willing to overlook their own mistakes, but they are intolerant when it comes to the faults of the parents.
Never send your child there . The qualities of teachers are very bad. Learn bad words Grades come out horrible
Strongly not recommended teachers hired are not qualified and fresh graduates. They teach by reading the text book page by page. Some teachers unprofessional they instruct students to copy questions so they can do spend time browsing hand phone. Parents complained always ignored by principal. Students who asked questions during class where told to google for answers and treated rudely. No questions allowed primary school so terrible. During the online class audio muted by teachers and chatting not allowed so no question asked during the lesson.
I heard about SJIS from a family friend and paid a visit to the school 2 years ago however didn’t enroll my kid back then. 2 years later I went back again and they maintained the warmth and openness to answer every question I have throughout (before and after enrolling). I am happy with the syllabus and the approach towards balancing both academic and sports. I am pleased with the principal’s forward thinking approach and strategy for the students to prepare them for the future. Kudos to the team and keep up the good work!
Overall performance…awesome! I’m proud, my son with this excellent team, Definitely I will introduce to my friends and clients. Keep rocking guys.
A great, friendly learning environment! Definitely enjoyed my 5 years in SJIS!
