About St. George Madrid
At St. George Madrid, we are a British private school, located in the north of Madrid, which teaches from 2 years old to 18. In our classrooms, there are students of more than 45 different nationalities who, from the first day, learn English with Native teachers. For us, the most important thing is that each student reaches their maximum potential, seeking excellence in all the tools that allow them to stand out in their personal and professional lives.
The last two courses (students aged 17 and 18) follow the IB Diploma program in English, which allows them to access both Spanish and international universities.

How would you rate St. George Madrid?
Lovely social environment with most teachers being kind and professional Admin unfortunately is made of quite incompetent self serving people who put themselves and careers ahead of pupils and teachers needs Appearance over quality Rising tuition prices do not reflect quality of facilities or challenge in academics A lot of staff turn over - not a good sign!!
My Daughter attended St George for 3 years (7-9). In her final year she experienced serious bullying much of which was directly observed by teachers with no action taken. Of particular concern was that the daughter of the biology teacher was one of the bullies and her mother knew and should have acted. My daughter took to hiding in the bathroom during breaks while her grades, eating habits, and psychological state degraded significantly. I removed her from St George and placed her in another far better school and the difference is night and day. She's made friends, tested as gifted, and is now getting good grades. The behavior of this school is almost criminal, and another year could have created permanent harm. The exception is Ms. Johnson who is excellent, but I would avoid St George like the plague. Particularly if you have a gifted or vulnerable child.
Muy buen sistema y la curva de aprendizaje es muy marcada, parece que no hacen nada en los primeros años porque tampoco hay muchos deberes pero luego cuando acaban secundaria el nivel y la forma de trabajar, investigar, escribir es buenisima, ahora olvidate de la memoria. Ojo a los grandes resultados de IB SIN SER UN COLEGIO SELECTIVO
Si contemplais este colegio, merece la pena de mirar otro mas enfocado academicamente. Los estudiantes no salen con un buen ingles. Y hay zero responsablidad de los directores en indagar y contestar a los problemas que tienen. Si sois padres, os quitan voz y voto. Si sois alumnos, saldrais con un buen Castellano.
Great experience at the school
A friendly and caring school with high academic standards.
My 10 year old son was kicked in the groin and then kicked while on the floor in the dining hall, leaving a 10cm scar on his lower back. The school’s response was to keep the attacker at home for one day. Staff turnover is high and bullying endemic.

Tienen un programa educativo que he encontrado en muy pocos centros. El nivel de inglés con el que dotan a sus alumnos es excelente. Sin duda, un centro formativo muy recomendable!

Mi hermano pequeño va a este cole y está encantado. El modelo de enseñanza es muy eficaz y el nivel de inglés estupendo. Sin duda, fue una buena elección.
