About Shanghai Shangde Experimental School (SSES)
Shanghai Shangde Experimental School (SSES) is a private boarding school, founded by Shangde Shangde Education Investment and Development Co. in September 2003, with the principal academic units being the Primary Division, the Junior & Senior High Division, and the Integrated Department. Its main campus is located in the Kangqiao area in Pudong, taking up 216 acres of land and housing an area of 147, 000 square meters. The campus is divided into 7 areas: the teaching and learning area, sports courts and gyms, living area, art centers, student service center, which as a whole demonstrate the integration of science & technology, humanities and art.
The school also has campuses in Pudong and Minhang districts, and is continuously expanding its educational presence. Shanghai Shangde Experimental School aims to provide an inspiring, challenging, diverse and secure learning environment that allows students to develop their potential through creativity and collaboration and being able to apply their skills in real-life, to be lifelong learners and responsible citizens.
