About Shanghai Shangde Experimental School (SSES)
Shanghai Shangde Experimental School (SSES) is a private boarding school, founded by Shangde Shangde Education Investment and Development Co. in September 2003, with the principal academic units being the Primary Division, the Junior & Senior High Division, and the Integrated Department. Its main campus is located in the Kangqiao area in Pudong, taking up 216 acres of land and housing an area of 147, 000 square meters. The campus is divided into 7 areas: the teaching and learning area, sports courts and gyms, living area, art centers, student service center, which as a whole demonstrate the integration of science & technology, humanities and art.
The school also has campuses in Pudong and Minhang districts, and is continuously expanding its educational presence. Shanghai Shangde Experimental School aims to provide an inspiring, challenging, diverse and secure learning environment that allows students to develop their potential through creativity and collaboration and being able to apply their skills in real-life, to be lifelong learners and responsible citizens.

How would you rate Shanghai Shangde Experimental School (SSES)?
A school from the past, students are to sit up straight, posture, no group work or collaboration takes between students or teachers....do not look out the window. Paperwork paperwork that has no meaning, just hand it in it is not checked or reflected upon. Teachers follow orders or fired. High quality teachers dismissed for being professional and trying to make improvements....follow orders from incompetent management that have never been teachers,,,Nepotism is rampant.....steer clear for your own sanity.
