How would you rate Santo António International School (SAIS)?
Great teachers and a community with a personal approach and close connection between children, teachers, and their parents. The premises are very basic but it is compensated by education.
We have just started in this school. I would agree with some comments above - they are not very organised, but they are really nice people who are doing their best in terms of education. The school will disappoint you, if you are looking for a fancy campus. The benefits are: 1) close-knit community; 2) the classes are small, so your child will surely get a lot of attention from teachers. I think it’s a great school to smoothly transition to English speaking environment.
we have changed 3 schools / st. dominics, then Oeiras international school and finally moved to santo antonio international school. my son loves this school much more that 2 prior schools. he loves passionate teaching staff who is quite demanding on academics on the one hand but friendly, supportive and engaging on the other. Facilities are not great but for me and my son teaching staff excellence comes first. great school. not sure why so low rates by others.
