How would you rate Sampoerna Academy Jakarta?
A good curriculum, facilities, teachers all nice, good learning method (STEAM) and good staff.
Stay away. Lack of teachers, overworked and under appreciated. 40% Indo teachers, 40% Filipino staff, 10% western, 5% Indian, 5% other. My child's English level dropped after 2 years with Filipino broken english and grades fell too. I'm moving him this year. lack of natives. very rude management and very uncaring staff. cash cow school run as a business. Don't work or attend.

Helped children grow into better individuals!??!?! Really??? My daughter was rejected to enter their Primary school in Jaksel with a reason that the school wasn’t ready to teach KIDS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS... so they just jumped to that conclusion only bcs I was mentioned that my daughter was under speech theraphy but is not that she can’t talk .. she was in a normal P1 (Jan-May’20) in Singapore bfr we decided to move back to JKT. Basically, No observation, no follow up.. all the video that I sent shows her capability to read, write, and count/ addition up to 100. I asked on what is their based to conclude that my daughter is a special needs kid.. that are not able to study in a regular school like Sampoerna Academy? They can’t answer it (of course!) just mentioned that they don’t have skill to teach special needs kid. w@$!!!

The school should first teach students to consider their neighbors. School events are also important. But this school is in the apartment complex. The school should cease to exercise noise in the morning. Yesterday, The school put a microphone to the neighbors have made trouble, at 7:30 in the morning. Today, the school started playing music in the apartment complex from 7 am. Apartment residents who have to sleep in the morning are too hard.
