Ruamrudee International School (RIS) is a Catholic school that provides an interfaith, inclusive, and academically rigorous education for students to be balanced, successful, and compassionate individuals. Reflecting the school’s mission and vision, RIS students participate in a comprehensive range of service learning opportunities with charities and communities throughout Thailand. These experiences change the lives of not only the people in these communities but of the students as well. Ruamrudee International School does more than just educate students; RIS nurtures their heads, hands, and hearts. Our students consistently score far above world averages in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and Advanced Placement (AP) courses. We are one of only a few schools in Southeast Asia to offer students both of these world-class programs. Students can currently choose from over 50 IB classes and 20 AP classes. Every year Ruamrudee International School students are accepted to many of the world’s top universities and colleges. Offers for the Class of 2019 include: Harvard, Stanford, Yale, UCLA, UC Berkeley, and University College London, along with 43 offers to medical schools.

RIS has a safe, friendly and family oriented environment. The facilities are up to date and fully equipped to engage students in a wide range of experiences. I love that RIS stresses such an importance on sports, whether it’s soccer, basketball, tennis, volleyball, badminton, golf, or swimming! They are also constantly renovating the schools buildings, classrooms, and facilities to stay modern and new!

For 11 years Ruamrudee International School is my home and I spent 30 minutes trying to write the reason why. Turns out I do not need the reason why I stayed with RIS for 11 years as a student. It is the same situation as not needing a reason to why you love someone. I love RIS as a family and a community. I stayed for 11 years and wished that I stayed longer. My teachers are my parents and my friends are my siblings. Walking into the campus is walking towards my home and my future. It is a place where my future is brighter and a place where I wante...
