About Oxford Spires Academy (OSA)
Oxford Spires Academy is a great school and we are extremely proud of our culture and we are committed to continuous improvement. We want to be truly exceptional in every aspect of our school community and find innovative and creative opportunities to build a passion for life-long learning within our students.
Our wonderful students achieve great progress and fantastic outcomes. Many of our students continue to study in our Sixth Form and the vast majority of our students transition successfully into university onto courses of their choice. Our Sixth Form offers a unique experience to our students, our students have a high profile within the school and are role models to our younger years.
We have 100% success rate for applications to Oxbridge Universities for the last two years.
As a school we are extremely proud to be a multicultural, multi-faith community. We celebrate the diversity of our staff and student population and we encourage students to celebrate their own heritage but equally to be proud British citizens. The bedrock on which our school community is built is the excellent relationships between staff and students and between students themselves.
When you visit the school you will notice the positivity and mutual respect that is shown to all members of the school community. You will observe the pride within our students and their eagerness to share their ideas, interests and learning. We have a superb house system, a diverse extra-curricular provision, a wonderful learning environment and fantastic students and staff. But don’t take my word for it; if you have not done so already, please contact us and we will arrange an individual visit to the school. You would be most welcome.

How would you rate Oxford Spires Academy (OSA)?
No provision for sen pupils, no support given, sen children are being failed by this school. Bullying is rife and nothing ever gets done.
Too strict, not thinking about the children emotions and tolerance enough
Alright school, completely depends on how you treat it. School only really focuses on children that can learn perfectly rather than those with neurodivergent conditions (like me) and people who learn slower than others.

It could be worse I guess, I think they don’t have to be so strict about phones and hoodies but they should more focus on kids who are struggling with education and not have entire assemblies about wearing the correct socks

I used to go to here all the time on a Friday night for a pint and a pack of peanuts. It was great... But ever since they banned hoodies the quality of everything has dropped majorly... Heavily disappointed in this establishment. And they don’t even serve Guinness any more !
