About One World International School - Suntec Campus (OWIS Suntec)

One World International School, which is a well-established and reputed international school in Singapore, has launched a new Early Childhood to Primary Grade 5 campus at Suntec Convention Centre in the Central Business District. This new campus meets the needs of international families living in the East and City Centre and who feel an affinity with OWIS’ kindness-led approach to education and inquiry-based learning pathway. The campus is open to registrations of interest up to Grade 8.

OWIS Suntec is an IB PYP Candidate School, and we offer an engaging, inquiry-led and play-based approach to learning based on the IB PYP framework and underpinned by the English National Curriculum for our learners. Because of its central location, the school is able to provide a robust CCA programme for whole child development in partnership with specialist providers in the vicinity.
For our Early Childhood students (ages 3 to 6), every school day features many play-based learning and sensory activities, which helps them to engage with their classmates and the world around them. Structured learning through interactive phonics classes, Mathematics and our Units of Inquiry helps students develop their reading, writing, listening, speaking and counting skills, besides becoming better communicators and collaborating with their peers and teachers. Students also enjoy Art, Music, and PE and start building their understanding of Mandarin as a second language.

For our Primary students (ages 7 to 11), our teachers use the IB PYP framework to focus on conceptual learning where students can lead the direction of some of the learning, guided and assisted by the teacher. Our students at OWIS are encouraged to become independent thinkers, who take responsibility for their own learning and for their actions as human beings. They are able to learn through a variety of techniques, from reading and researching, to practical skills and play scenarios.
