About Norwich International School
Norwich International School is a progressive learning environment that challenges young minds to achieve both academic excellence and personal happiness. At Norwich we believe that the rapidly growing influence of China in our region should not be underestimated and that for the majority of young people interaction with China through business, their professions, travel, media or other cultural exchanges will form a significant part of their adult lives.
For this reason, Norwich International School has made Mandarin a compulsory foreign language to be studied from Nursery right through to IGCSE. By doing so we believe we will be giving our students a distinct career advantage within the Asia Pacific region and beyond.

School is run by incompetent people. The owners have little knowledge about what international education actually means
There’s nothing International about it.
Norwich provides the British Curriculum to children from the age of 2 up to 13 (currently) with the EY Foundation Programme, National Curriculum, IGCSE and eventually, the IB programme, being taught. Central to the school's philosophy is Mindfulness. The children have separate Mindfulness lessons, and it is also incorporated into the day. Teaching is of an excellent standard, while the children clearly enjoy going to school. An ELS programme is available for those children who require extra support. Reading is an integral part of the Norwich curriculum, with children taking home both a library book and banded reading book. English is taught through texts, and the school strives to promote a love of reading. For example, this week is Roald Day day, and the children will be purchasing chocolate bars in the hope of finding a golden ticket (to win a Roald Dahl book!) The school has introduced an enrichment Maths programme this year, with their most able students being pushed further, to develop their skills. The extra curricular programme is of a high standard, with external providers offering clubs such as Robotics, Hip Hop, Clay Works and Tennis. A professional footballer runs the school's Football Academy, while they have a number of students representing the school in golf tournaments around the world. A new Secondary building and sports facilities is on the horizon, with work set to begin in the coming months.

My daughter goes to this school and loves it. For a six year old she had very strong reading skills due to their focus on reading and phonic
