Information about languages of the Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi
We teach an innovative programme called the World Languages Programme. English is the language of instruction and, within the curriculum, we also teach Arabic, Spanish, French, German and Mandarin. Arabic is part of the mandatory MOE curriculum. Students in FS1 (age 3) are exposed to all our languages and from Year 3 they choose one of them to study more in depth until GCSE or even A Levels. Students are divided into native and non-native speakers so that we can support them at any level throughout their language learning journey.
