About NIVA American International School
NIVA American International School follows a structured American curriculum and educational programming to meet the needs of Thailand and the international community of students. The NIVA curriculum incorporates Asian and European strands along with the main American strands to emphasize high standards, independence and choices, pragmatism, global citizenship and character development. NIVA graduates can join any university program, whether it is American, British or other national and international programs.
When it comes to determining what career paths our graduating students will choose, the Guidance Department provides early career and college education insight and continual guidance for our students. The Guidance Department also helps with preparing students for admission to colleges and universities, as well as in securing scholarships for students who have been highly motivated.

Our family feels happy with NIVA who are good at taking care of our son.
I’ve started learning at NIVA since grade one. I transferred here from another school because of my sister. Since then, I’ve been spending all my years at NIVA. Something that I like about this school is that it gives a sense of community. Since the school is pretty small we are able to create close relationships with other students and teachers. In addition, I like the atmosphere of the school because it is built around nature. I do feel that I am ready for the next stage of my life since I’ve spent a lot of time preparing for it. I’ve experienced many things that could be useful to me in the future. NIVA has combined both in class and hands-on experience for students, which I believe would be helpful to everyone.
My son started at NIVA from Nursery and is now in K2. From the time he started, I was impressed with the teachers and staff in taking care of my boy. My boy is a happy kid and with playing with other kids, he became more sociable and friendly. I like the nurturing style of NIVA's kindergarten program. They look into every child individually and we as parents see the progress and support. We also support our son is everything he does at school. We get valuable feedback from the teachers. Now, my son now is very confident when he goes on stage. I think because they give the children a lot of exposure to express themselves. I hope you can try it for yourself. I think you will be happy as I am happy with our decision to enroll my son at NIVA.
We have two children; one graduated already two years ago, and the second one is graduating this year. It was a long journey for us, but we came all this way. I am already starting to miss this school. The school has been like a second home for my children, and we were a part of their experiences as they grew up here. We faced challenges, but we also made many happy memories and relationships within the community. It is like a family here. We know everyone in the school, from the teachers to the staff and even the maids. Everyone is helpful, and if there are any problems that arise, we are able to resolve them together. I am forever grateful that this school shaped my children into what they are today. I especially want to mention the guidance department for being instrumental in my child's chosen career. And with their leadership program, I'm happy my children developed leadership skills that can be used in the future.
Positive reviews here are posted by TEACHING STAFF, so not very honest to load up a website with reviews by teachers pretending to be parents. The mostly Asian staff speaks volumes about the orientation of this school - this is NOT an American teacher-staffed school presenting an American curriculum. NIVA is a Thai government school that is unable to recruit and retain credentialed American teachers. Abnormally high staff turnover so if you are a credentialed teacher looking for long-term employment, NIVA will not suit you.
NIVA advertises its program as an 'American' curriculum but the mostly Filipino and 'others' staff do NOT hold teaching credentials from US states. The mostly Thai student body does not reflect a true international school student population. High staff turnover reflects immature and abusive school management. Basically, this is a Thai govt school English Program that is not well-known and not well-respected.
Niva American International School helps my son developed learning skills and technological advancement.

// pingpongピンポン, in the last week
Pretty slow with education compared to other American schools in Bangkok. Teachers drop out every year. Really small campus, swimming pool isn’t standard size. Lockers are pretty worn out, plus they’re not even lockers they’re cabinets. School fees are always going up every year, getting ridiculously high for medium if not worse education. When niva goes to educational competitions, like math competitions, they will never win, nor get awards for runner ups. Not strict with dress code, hairstyle, etc. Honestly I don’t recommend this school when you’re looking at the education. P.S. watch out for vroom vroom, he’s mean ;) I warned you ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
