We believe that the Mooltripakdee International School (MIS) ethos is well represented by the school and its students. At the heart of that ethos is the creation of a nurturing and peaceful community. This finds visible expression in our carefully cultivated school grounds which provide a tranquil and beautiful setting for our staff and students. Accordingly, this environment plays a vital role in producing the happy, peaceful, and positive atmosphere most visitors to the school comment upon. From this foundation, we can provide our students with the opportunities to realize their potential, both academically and personally, through outstanding teaching and learning, high academic standards, and a wide range of co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Finally, as an international school located in Thailand, we strive to embrace an international and multicultural outlook whilst celebrating the Thai culture that forms an important part of most of our student's cultural heritage.1988-The Grand Opening Our owner, Dr. Wiravan Mootripakdee (Miss Wee) opened MCCI, a Montessori Nursery School located by the beach in the Naklua district, just north of Pattaya. Miss Wee had become a passionate advocate of the Montessori educational philosophy and spent a year in the USA studying this approach prior to opening MCCI. At its inception, MCCI hosted around 70 young students aged between 2 and 5 years old. 2010 - A New School Is Born
As MCCI's reputation grew, and a plan was developed to build a fill International Primary school, it was necessary to look for a larger site. The current location, near Maprachan Lake at Chayapornvittee 25, was chosen for its ideal combination of space and beauty. The new school - Mooltripakdee International School (MIS) -received its first intake of pupils on August 25th. The following year the MCCI site at Naklua closed and the school was incorporated into MIS.
2020 - A Decade of Growth.
MIS currently has around 6O0 pupils down from over 30 different countries and ranging in age from 2 to 16. Our secondary school students work towards the Cambridge International IGCSE exams and this year the school achieved accreditation as an official Cambridge International exam center. Our brand new STEAM building houses the examination hall and state-of-the-art science and IT labs. This year MIS also went into partnership with the Education Development Trust (EDT); one of the world's leading international school accreditation bodies.
Sounds like a great school, and I would love to send my children. I hope there will be a school bus route extended to Sriracha.... Greatly appreciate it if anyone can give me any recommendations. I am open to any suggestions!
Very good school! I send my kids here for the last two years. Kindergarten and year 1 and 2. The classes are not small. Between 15 and 25 kids with one teacher and 2 assistant teachers. The teacher are very sweet at kindergarten stage and professional native speaking from at least grade one on.
The school improved a lot the last two years, it got much bigger. Quite a few extra activities possible after school (200-400 Baht).
In the office they are always very helpful.
Price is pretty low if you compare with others international schools.
This school is bad it might look nice in the outside at first the teachers treat you nice but they are absolutely bad and they start to become control freaks and these comments above are possible from all the teacher there its a nightmare your child will hate it and don't bring them here
