About Modern English School Cairo
Modern English School Cairo is not just an "Outstanding" school; it is a 'home away from home' for all who work, study and spend most of the hours of the day here learning and contributing to the lives of others. When you walk through our gates, turn the pages of our publications or browse through our social media, I hope you will sense the familial atmosphere that is evident in our daily lives. In my long years of experience, generations of students have come through these doors and graduated and grown to become young men and women of whom I am extremely proud.
Many of them are now parents themselves and have entrusted us with their own children. This is the legacy which carries us through the years and which will lead us to the future. I hope you enjoy your experience with us and feel free to learn more about our ever-growing family.

Best school in Cairo by far, malvern collage is so bad
Having moved back to Egypt almost 4 years ago, I was told that MES is one of the best schools in Cairo. I enrolled my 2 daughters there. Unfortunately, high school is a total mess. Few teachers lack the academic strength (other than just being "native speakers"), others lack control over students in the classroom. Eventually, you end up spending a wholesome amount of money with almost no ROI. Most students are forced to seek external tuition. School fees keep increasing dramatically (sometimes even after they are finally announced, which is a common practice in Egypt not to announce the tuition fees until mid-year!). However, primary school seems to be at a satisfactory level so far.

The school began with the pioneering vision of a group of educators led by Mr. Nabeel Dajani and Mrs. Sawsan Dajani. Its reputation and standing in the community grew quickly and as the school population increased, improved facilities were built, culminating in a recent move to an impressive state-of-the-art campus in New Cairo. In a friendly and welcoming atmosphere the students are encouraged to care for one another and for the world around them.
