The academic programs of the Modern American School prepare its students for optimal performance in their university studies, creating habits of discipline and love for study and reading, keys to achieving a comprehensive and satisfying adult life.
In Preschool, teaching is given in English, with cutting-edge methodologies that facilitate, through play, the immersion of our little ones in this language, while they enjoy their learning and their achievements.
It precedes the “Prefirst English” Primary, the year in which the child formally learns to understand, read and write in English.
In Primary, the bilingual system begins, dedicating half of the time to the Spanish program and the other half to the English program. In search of a comprehensive development for students, our educational models are enriched with recognized methodologies that promote fundamental forms of learning: learning to be, learning to do, learning to learn and learning to live together. In Baccalaureate (Secondary and High School), in addition to complying with the SEP and UNAM programs, subjects are taught in English aimed at full command of the language that allow young people to successfully take exams such as the SAT, TOEFL of United States, the Cambridge First Certificate in English and the Cambridge Proficiency in English.
At least, at the preschool level it is an outstanding school, it gives fundamental foundations of English and the discipline and academic training is quite good. There are people who say that it is a very strict school, however I think that so far what I have seen is a school with values, principles and rules that work in the real world and that I like that my children have as a basis for the rest of their life.
