About Metropolitan School (MET)

Metropolitan International School (MET) was recently accredited by AdvancED which is an organization that inspects the quality assurance aspects of schools on a worldwide basis.  This is no easy feat for a young school, so congratulations are in order for the entire staff at our school. This has propelled the school into being among the top schools in Egypt, in a very short time period. MET fosters a positive learning environment for students and is a great place to work.

Engaging in community service encourages our students to think altruistically in order to achieve a better world for all.  In the pursuit of learning how to be creative entrepreneurs, our students may well be on their way to achieving unparalleled success.

It's a nice building with great facilities, but the main manager thrives on drama and tension. This eventually creates stress which trickles down to the teachers, students, and parents. Some of the teachings in regards to "religion" are interesting to say the least. No one is happy from the very top to the very bottom. Parents who are late in paying their fees are mocked and an email reporting their names for such goes around school wide, disrespecting the privacy of the ckirnys. This is through my own personal experience. I believe it could be improved if the owner was to be in control.

EXTREEMLY poor management in handling all type of incidents with the kids on all grades and all levels. They will call you if your kid talk in class .. if he/she went more than once to toilet.. had an argue with any kid.. or doesn't even understand in class ! Building and facilities are good but the service is horrible. Unqualified teachers with zero skills to handle kids. Curicullim is very weak .. academically very weak. And not to mention the fees increased by 77% !!I am moving my kids out after this year.
