Lycée International de Londres Winston Churchill places the wellbeing and the intellectual development of each student at the heart of every lesson, every strategy, and every decision we make.
We built our school on the principle that students must learn to ask difficult questions. We gave ourselves the goal to develop responsible, open-minded young people capable of taking on the challenges of an unpredictable world. We aim to develop their confidence and imagination through bilingual education. We strive to recruit and retain highly experienced international staff who take pride in every student’s progress and instil in everyone the profound joy of ambitious intellectual pursuits. Above all, the safe environment we have created celebrates the diversity of our families from all over the world and encourages invigorating conversations across cultures.
Even in the troubled times of the Covid-19 pandemic, the creativity and collaboration of our community allowed for learning and social life to continue online. We have a shared culture of audacious thinking and a deep sense of belonging.

How would you rate Lycée International de Londres Winston Churchill?
Unprofessional leadership team. Primary school looks like it is from the 1970's due to the lack of modern day classroom resources. Lack of support staff. Can't believe parents pay for their kids to go here. Shocking school compared to British ones!!
Students are incredibly valued and taken care of. Excellence and care are at the heart of everything the staff does.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We are a French/Swiss family and mainly lived in English speaking countries. When we decided to move to London from Toronto in September 2020, we wanted an International school with a strong French connection. The Lycée International was the obvious option.. and we don’t regret our choice! Our daughter started it in Year 8 in the English International Program and it is perfect for her. She felt very quickly at ease. Having the majority of the classes in English, she was able to settle in with ease and we really appreciate that she is also able to practice and learn French as a native (that she is, but never lived in a French speaking country). We also like the curriculum that is a blend from the British, French and IB programs, leading to an IB diploma. The small size of the classes is also a great advantage. The school was impeccable at organising the remote (online) classes due to the Covid restrictions and took great care of the wellbeing of the “zooming” students. On a social aspect, we are very happy that she is surrounded by other students like her.. internationals, and as a family we felt very welcomed by the Parents Association (especially when having to quarantine for 14 days in a new city!).

We have travelled the world as a family and our kids have been in at least 5 different French school. This is by far the best we have encountered. School has managed to pull up a great project in only four years. Kids are thriving both academically and personally. We have been here from the start in 2015 and are amazed by the results.

À wonderful school for all ages, with a dedicated and joyful staff who go out of their way to see the students thrive and succeed. Only open for four years and it has gone from strength to strength. Kids are challenged AND happy, and enjoy the best possible educational environment.

PROS ET BIENVEILLANTS: My boys love the place and are happy to go to school. Both admin and teachers are very professional and with a genuine attention to their well-being. I highly recommend this school, certainly the best my kids ever went to.

Excellent school. It has been making remarkable progress since its opening only 4 years ago. School management has been very pro-active in addressing the comments brought forward by the inspection and parents, in particular in respect of the academic programme. The children are very happy at the school and parents get regular feed-back on the progress their children make. The bilingual programme has settled in well. As a final comment, this school beats any other school we have ever sent our children to in terms of parent engagement.

Fantastic school that mixes the best aspects of the French and Anglo-saxon academic systems. Strives for academic excellence while nurturing non-academic talents and creativity in the students. Teachers are excellent and students come out truly bilingual.
