About Lycée International British Section

Lycée International British Section Paris provides a first-class British educational programme for children aged 3 to 18 as part of a genuine bilingual and bicultural curriculum proposed at the internationally renowned Lycée International Saint-Germain-en-Laye and partner schools.

In response to the strong demand for Anglo-French bilingual education, the British Section has progressively extended its activities to five different sites in the neighbouring towns of Saint-Germain-en-Laye and Le Pecq. British Section classes take place within these schools, three of which also host other international sections, providing a rich, multicultural learning environment.

This school doesn’t have a nurturing environment. It is not inclusive and the managed by incompetent people, especially in maternelle . This is a school where not only children are bullied by children but also they are bullied by the school itself.

The British Section genuinely provides a first-class and authentic British educational programme as part of a genuine bilingual and bicultural curriculum delivered within the framework of the French schooling system at the internationally renowned Lycée International Saint-Germain-en-Laye and partner schools. The overarching goal is to inspire a love of learning and to help pupils explore and nurture their individual personality, talents and interests within the rich multicultural environment of the Lycée International. After 8 years (so far) we are delighted.

I'm a full-time student in the British section and have been for over 10 years. The Lycée is unique and I have met people from all over the world. It is quite competitive once you get to secondary school but I have never felt any pressure from the teachers. The campus is located in the Western suburbs of Paris in the grassy grounds of a historical castle and has been recently renovated. All the teachers are extremely supportive and dedicated but the French teachers may appear to be a bit brusque but are nevertheless excellent at their job.

An amazing international high School in western Paris. Excellent teaching with an unique setup on the middle of a greeny campus. Very Very selective but worth studying there if admited.

I have 2 children, both went FS programs. It was very intense. Very nice teacher and 14 sections, it was very good.

I liked being on this school but the only downside is that the buildings are old. Otherwise, the lessons were very good and the cantine was amazing. Edit: The school was recently renovated.
