About Lycée Francais de Dusseldorf (LFdD)


Lycée Francais de Dusseldorf (LFdD) is almost 60 years old. Created on the initiative of a group of parents to educate about fifteen children, the establishment has grown considerably to become today a high school of excellence which attracts not only French students but also, more and more, other nationalities.

Now welcoming more than 600 students, from kindergarten to terminale, it is recognized for the quality of the education provided there, for the results of the students in the exams and for their future after obtaining the baccalaureate.

The pedagogical requirement is one of the strong characteristics of the establishment, registered within the framework of the agreement which binds it to the Agency for the Teaching of French Abroad (AEFE). The teachers therefore follow the programs defined by the Ministry of National Education and they are supported by the network of French establishments abroad to develop a pedagogy that is both solid and innovative, which promotes the acquisition of knowledge and skills. that students need to continue their schooling and, later, their studies.

Exam results reflect both the work of teachers to give students the tools they need to succeed and the commitment of students in their learning journey. They also lie in the ability of all the players in the educational community to mobilize to help them when they feel the need, to motivate them when they run out of steam and to push them to go to the maximum of their abilities when they need it. horrible. worst school of my life. i cant believe i put my poor kids Stephanie and Caleb in this prison. their physics teacher was terrible! Now my kids are Zen in Italy.I recommend everyone to move to Italy for a calm, peaceful, loving life xoxo karen
