About King's College The British School of Madrid - La Moraleja (KCS)

King's College The British School of Madrid - La Moraleja is a British school with a superb location in La Moraleja, on a hill overlooking Alcobendas (Madrid), with impressive views of the Guadarrama Mountains. Its classrooms cater for more than 600 children between the ages of 3 and 16 (Nursery to Year 11). As a purpose-built school of stunning design, with outdoor areas and well-appointed classrooms, this is an inspiring place to learn.

What is immediately apparent is the happy yet purposeful atmosphere of the school. Whether children are Spanish or international, everyone is made to feel welcome and newcomers make friends here very quickly.

As a school growing in numbers we now also need to grow in size and facilities. We are therefore delighted to announce that in September 2020 we shall be inaugurating our new second campus in La Moraleja, just a 5 minute walk from our existing school site.

The new building is a dedicated Infant School, especially for students age 2 (Pre-Nursery) to age 7 (Year 2), offering a space where from a very early age children are encouraged to become independent learners and have fun as they acquire new skills.

Children attending the new Infant school will automatically gain a place at the existing campus where they can continue their education from Year 3 until Year 11 (age 16).

King’s College School, The British School of Madrid is part of the King’s College school network, founded in 1969, which provides a high-quality British education to more than 8000 students across the globe.

I have a child who has attended King’s since 4 years old and they are very happy with their experience there! The teachers are very supportive and helpful, and it is really great to be a part of a school with great values. The teacher's really put the pupils first and that is what stood out to me most! Myseld and my daughter have shared some wonderful memories at the school, some unforgettable!

We visited King’s College La Moraleja some weeks back and I have to say we were impressed not only with the quality of the education, but mostly with the warmth of the kids and teachers alike. Nuria, the head of admissions, took the time to kindly answer all our questions and she made sure my two-year old son enjoyed every bit of the visit!!

My family had the worse experience ever with Kings college. I could write a whole chapter about it but I will stick to the fact they are highly unprofessional, do not reply to calls or emails, make false promises and only care about cashing in your money. They played a very dirty game with us when they knew that we needed extra support through a complicated situation and did not even have their facts right. They did not even get the year in which our daughter was going to join right. The headmaster said things that the 3 of us understood but then changed his tune in a cold, unfriendly and accusing email in the end!! This is a shame for a school which is so expensive and who is supposed to give the best support to children and parents who wish to join. We were going to send 3 children there but after their pathetic behaviour we will not do so and I will never stop telling about how bad they are. A very hurt and angry mother!!!
