About King's College, Doha
Established in Qatar in 2016, King’s College Doha is quickly becoming the country’s premier choice for families looking for a first-class independent British-curriculum school here; the only school in the area to benefit from specialist teachers, from Pre-School right the way through to Year 7, with Years 5 to 7 receiving 100% specialist teaching for each subject. Our purpose-built school welcomes pupils from age 3 to 13 – with imminent plans to expand that offer all the way to A level.
King’s is the sister school of the prestigious King’s College Taunton and is recommended by Doha parents as “A true diamond in the desert” for its prep-school values, first-class teachers, facilities and enviable enrichment programmes, which are woven into the curriculum as an essential part of the school day.
The King’s culture of excellence was established by leading educationalist Nathaniel Woodard in 1879, one of the first advocates of educating ‘the whole child’. This philosophy is an integral part of a King’s College education and ensures our students are not only nurtured to achieve beyond their perceived academic boundaries but also go on to be confident, happy and responsible global citizens.
Our dynamic community is home to over 60 nationalities and is underpinned by a spirit of self-respect and self-esteem, focused on nurturing individual personalities and talents. At King’s we teach how to learn through a passionate and knowledge-based approach, so whether your child is starting or continuing their educational journey with us, they will be inspired and equipped to transfer their learning across countries and curriculums.

Love the new year 3 teacher. Never seen my daughter try so hard to impress. The teacher may not think so. But it's true. Lol Love the staff. Treat people as you want to be treated a d you get the same in return. Thank you. And my front desk ladies are amazing. Ann Marie will be a big miss and hard to replace.

As close as you will get to a British Prep School in the Middle East. The teaching is excellent and the ethos authentic resulting in happy, confident and bright children.
