The school does not have a teacher for the AI Higher Level Maths IB
My son has been in the school since he was four and a half years old. I never knew how important Maths was until I found out recently, Without Higher Level Maths IB diploma (AI or AA), you cannot do a STEM degree. My son's maths grade remain at a level 3 to 4, when I kept raising my concerns to the teachers, the reply that I would always get, is he just need to focus and try harder. this continued all the way up to grade 8. Not once was I told my son might need a private maths tutor to help him. We decided to get private lessons for him in the end based on our concerns, His grades shot up to 5 and 6. After his IGCSE exams which he passed. The school tried to convince us, that my son is better suited for Standard Level Maths, We asked for him to continue with Higher Level Maths AI. Instead the school has placed my son in an AA HL Maths Class. I have emailed to the administrator several times but not response. I believe the school do not have a teacher for the AI HL Maths, there is close to about 140 students doing the IB diploma, but some how only 40 pupils are in the AA HL Maths Class for one teacher. Not very good. we will continue with private lesson for our son and our second child who is in Middle School. Do not have faith anymore in the school system.
Parent of 2 students. Avoid! Poor teachers, who don’t care about students and leadership that doesn’t listen or care. Sexism from teachers, and favouritism among teaching staff children. Removing both next term.

Middle School Student Council is a school organisation with the students at its heart. Students are elected by their peers to represent them, advocate for them and celebrate them. Genuine youth leadership in action, where skills of confidence, responsibility, organisation and collaboration are nurtured.
