About International School of London (ISL)

International School of London (ISL) is a truly international school that personalises its learning to meet the needs of all its students. Our school has earned a global reputation as a leading International Baccalaureate (IB) school and is widely recognised as one of the UK’s best and most experienced international schools.

Since 1972, we have established a welcoming and inclusive community. Our diverse cultures and languages drive all our learning experiences.

We nurture creativity and curiosity to stimulate deep thinking. We foster insight, compassion and resilience to enable us to play a meaningful part in a changing world.

The International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes aim to do more than other curricula by developing inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who are motivated to succeed.

At ISL, high quality learning is defined by the degree to which our students have the opportunity to explore their passions, develop their own questions and are challenged in their thinking. Click below to explore one of the three programmes taught at ISL.

It's so good the teachers are kind, there are good subjects and they help their students a lot. They have special need students better than public schools.

Absolutely horrendous. My child says the teachers don't allow them to leave until they eat the horrid food, the standard of education is appalling, and the events are pointless. Highly unrecommended.

It depends on what you are looking for. If you look for a place where your child is happy and plays a lot even when 16 or 17 than this is the place. If you are looking for an academic school run away. This is all beside academic. It's more a summer camp. My children have been throwing away one year at ISL and didn't do anything. They do a lot of Nothing which consists in everything besides studying. Most parents are expats so stay few years and go and don't pay attention to school quality but need to park there child. Unfortunately lack of preparation is payed at a high price when you enter University.
