I visited the school and I was amazed by their facilities and how they teach children. I noticed that the school it is designed for teamwork and creativity. I was surprised to see the 4th graders learning robotics and playing with similar hardware that we had in our labs in university (they learn it 12 years earlier than me).

This is my second year at ISD and I feel incredibly fortunate to be a part of this exceptional community of learners. A special place where you can be yourself. It is a rich and rewarding experience to collaborate with global citizens who share their wealth of knowledge. Proud to be an ISD Lion!

An amazing school where children learn how to think, not what to think. The main part of their programme is to enable students to think critically, to understand their impact on others, to take risk, to develop life long learners. ISD is a school that has the main focus on students and it is designed for students. It is an organisation where employees are empowered to take action. When you enter the building you feel a positive energy that, I assume is given by the people that work there.

There are so many amazing things I can say about International School of Dusseldorf that I don't know where to start. The teaching approach that is applied at ISD is exceptional and one that will give every child a headstart in the future. I am currently completing my second master's degree in education and I can honestly say that the current research I am reading highlights what ISD is doing. Unlike other schools where students are taught to memorize answers to pass tests, students at ISD are critical and creative thinkers who question things. If you are looking for a school that will celebrate and recognize every quality that makes your your child unique and special then it's ISD. They are by far the best international school in this area.
